There's so much to tell, I don't know where to start...
I suppose since I've been complaining about work since I've started this blog, I should start with that subject.
It is hard to believe how little it takes to turn my "doomsday" mood into an almost triumphant one!
We have a new manager - well he's not really our new manager, just the interim one until we get a "real" one (due at some point in September apparently). He is actually the manager of the support team in Canada and everyone over there raves about him and I can see why. In the 5 days he has been with us I have done more work than I have in the past 12 months! He listens and cares about people and he is kind and fair. I am keeping my fingers crossed that he will actually manage to change that stupid team leader of ours because really, that's our only current problem. From what he has done so far for us, I have every faith that he will sort that idiot out. So, after a long, frustrating time at work things are looking up. Keep your fingers crossed that it remains like this - I could use some successes in my work life!
As for the rest of my life - all going splendidly. I am taking three classes, all to do with writing in one way or another and I'm very proud to say that I'm getting more and more confident (and less and less lazy).
Choir is going well and I'm starting to get used to Bach though there is clearly no comparison to Beethoven for me. Whether it's this piece only or not, I can't tell. I've found out that the London Symphony Orchestra and some choir are performing the Missa Solemnis at the Barbican this month and I got a ticket to go and see it. After all I only got to hear it on CD, never live. Should be cool :-)
The only thing that sucks is my weight. I can't stop eating and it frustrates me. I only eat crap too and somehow need crisps, ice cream and pizza and lots of sweets too. Weird but definitely just a phase. Can't wait to grow out of it.
I've got lots more to tell but it's too late to write plus this is already too long.
I promise to update this more often, even if it's just with two, three sentences.
